NEW requirements of Rule 11-2/15.2.9 of SOLAS-74, namely
that the high-pressure pipes leading from the high-pressure turbochargers
to burners must be enclosed by pipes capable of containing fuel
in case of leaks, we propose the following:
- High-pressure pipes inside the protective cases of our
own make. All pipes are provided with certificates of
compliance in accordance with the RS and BV;
- Additional standard high-pressure pipes more than 12
mm dia. should be provided with flexible metal pipelines
and a fuel leak signaling system;
- Installation of the systems on board ship by force
of highly-qualified teams at any world port in accordance
with the design developed by our specialists and agreed
with any Classification Society.
