Design Department in charge of
ship refurbishment offers to develop the technical documentation
related to an integrated re-equipment of ships. All developed
documentation is agreed with any Classification Society.
Calculations referring to the theory of
naval architecture and analysis of compliance of ships
with the International Conventionrequirements:
calculation of freeboard;
calculation of net and gross tonnage;
calculations related to ship stability;
calculations related to the stability in emer gencies;
test determination of the light weight of the ship
and the centre of gravity;
calculations related to changes of ship's free board
(gain in cargo capacity);
substantiation of the possibility to change the ship's
purpose and extension of the navigable range;
analysis of compliance of the ship with the requirements
of International Conventions (SOLAS, MARPOL).
Technical documentation on refurbishment
of hulls:
installation and re-equipping of the life-saving arrangement;
ship engine foundations and their installation;
upgrading of the signaling and distinctive arrangements;
upgrading of the mooring, anchor and towing gear arrangements;
conversion of ships;
ferry trip projects.
Technical documentation on upgrading mechanical
and electrical parts:
upgrading of the sewage and flushing systems;
upgrading of the bilge water and sludge system;
upgrading of the fire-smothering system;
upgrading of the washing and potable water systems;
upgrading of the fire detection and extinguishing system;
upgrading of the fire-water system.
Technical documentation on fire-extinguishing:
development of the fire-control plan;
development of booklets on fire safety measures and
guidelines on training personnel in fire-fighting;
